PHILOSOPHY

Our office has been in the Seafair neighborhood for over 33 years and has grown up with the generations of residents in our area. We understand the expectations of our demographic and operate with respect for every patient who walks through our doors. We are good listeners and want to help you reach your dental health objectives within the confines of your budget.

Our office is distinguished by minimal wait times. We respect your time and as such, we do not double or overbook. Our dentist and hygienist see one patient at a time. We are experienced and proficient in our work and we are very punctual. Most of our patients are seated promptly with minimal or no wait time.

We are here to provide a service to you. We will try our best to explain the treatment and its rationale so that when we proceed, we can be on the same page. We provide a range of services but we believe in minimally invasive treatment. We will inform you what your needs are but we will never “sell” you anything you don’t need.

The regulations governing advertising have evolved with the times, but we believe we should adhere to our own standard of professionalism and as such, the only advertising we do is internal. Almost all of our new patients come from other happy patients.

BILLING

We charge according to the current fee guide of the College of Dental Surgeons, the industry standard. We do not extra-bill or charge above the fee guide.

Our staff is very knowledgeable about the current dental insurance landscape. Because of the myriad products and policies, our information is only as current as the information you provide us; due to privacy issues, many carriers are reluctant to release information to parties other than the subscribers.  With your help in providing timely updates on changes to your dental plans, we can minimize any surprises.

We will bill and seek direct payment from insurance whenever possible. We will coordinate payment when more than one plan is involved. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for his or her own account.

APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

Please call 604-277-3533 to schedule an appointment. Our receptionists will be happy to assist with any questions you may have. We respect your time and will not keep you waiting as we do not double book. We ask that the patient respect our time also. We require 24 hour notice if you cannot make an appointment and reserve the right to impose a fee if this condition is not met.
